In the men's competition Basiten Dayer suprised with his victory after beeing thir in the first run. The Swiss, with three World Cup victories before this race - the first ever came in the same discipline and in the same course in 2009 - kept focus and finished half a second before another surprise - Sondre Kristenstuen (19) of Norway, being on the podium for the second time in his carrier.
Phillipe Lau of France made a disappointing first run, but showed his ability in the second - skiing more than 1,2 seconds faster than Dayer. Still it wasn't good enough to more than a third place.
